Where did you come up with the name Wisdom In Light?

White light has come to mean so many things to me in this spiritual journey I am on. Light is not only around us, but it is also within us, and within this light and our quest to become closer to the light (which I see as the light of God/Source/Divine/Creator-whichever you believe-I believe they are all the same!) comes knowledge and wisdom. Throughout my journey I have realized that the wisdom and knowledge we seek has been within us always, we just have to choose to tap into that wisdom, and that is what I strive to do every day in order to grow and help others.

What Are Psychic Readings Good For?

A psychic reading can help you determine what roadblocks are in your way that you may or may not be aware of and help you determine how to get through them.

A psychic reading can be used to confirm or serve as an affirmation for something you are experiencing.

A pyschic reading can help determine if you are on the right path in your career, love life, spiritual or any other area of your life you would like answers regarding.

A psychic reading can help put things into perspective and bring clarity to a situation or question that you have.

A psychic medium reading can provide information from loved ones that have crossed over.

How do I Choose the Right Psychic?

Choosing a psychic is definitely a personal decision that varies for each individual. The first thing I recommend is to listen to YOUR intution. If something doesn't feel right about someone, trust that and find someone else! The second piece of advice I always give on this topic is that if someone says their xyz is better than someone else's, RUN away. Someone coming from a place of love and light, someone who truly wants to help will put their ego aside; they won't say they are better because everyone is just DIFFERENT, not better or worse. And lastly, if they promise a certain outcome, I would be skeptical. As intuitives we are just the conduit, the messenger per se and therefore cannot guarantee an outcome as each reading/session/situation is different. We can give past odds and results as a generality, for example I say that I can't guarantee that a specific loved one will come through but so far when someone requests someone specific, they have come through, but I can't and won't GUARANTEE that as I don't have control of the spirit world! I personally had someone in my life who crossed who I could not communicate with for several years because they were going through a "healing" process and were incommunicado (could not communicate/sequestered by choice). Now if someone would have guaranteed that this person would come through in a reading and information came through, I would definitely have to question who they were actually talking to! Really, it comes down to, if it feels even a little bit funky/icky/not right, listen to your gut and proceed accordingly.

What Techniques Do You Use in Your Readings?

I use my skills as an empath (I feel others feelings and events, past and present), clairvoyant (I see things), clairaudient (I hear things), clairsentient (I sense things) among other things as well as connecting with Creator and both of our guides, angels, masters/teachers. If it is an in-person reading, I sometimes also use psychometery (I hold an object owned by you and can see and feel things from the object). I also use oracle cards and crystals and am always working on other methods of communication as there are many ways.

How can you do readings without the person being present?

Doing readings involves tapping into the energy of that person which can be done via email, phone, chat or in-person. The other tool that I use is speaking with my guides and angels; my guides and angels know who I'm reading for, who you are and can provide me with information relevant to you because of that. Many psychics ask for your birthday or other information, but I have found my guides and angels know who I'm doing the reading for (why wouldn't they?)

If you are psychic, why do I need to ask a question or why do you ask me questions?

A good reading is one where we both participate. While I can get relevant information from you without you asking a question, you may not receive answers specific to the question or subject you have in mind. Also keep in mind that the question that will be answered in the reading will not be the one you asked IF that is not your true heart's question. I ask you questions to make sure we go down the right path. With clairvoyance, sometimes it is hard for me to gauge whether something I am seeing is past, present or future and confirming that something occurred already or is occurring now will help me to focus the questions to my guides and give you a more accurate reading. For example, if I see children, I will ask you if you currently have children so that I know whether this is something past, now or future and can ask the right questions of my guides. While I am doing the reading, I am constantly asking my angels and guides questions to help confirm that what I am seeing is correct. The answers that you give me will assist in the confirmation that we're going down the right path with the reading.

You said a certain event would happen, why has it not happened yet?

Unless I receive a specific time frame surrounding the event, there is no way to know when it will happen. You also need to keep in mind that circumstances change; We all have free will and if I saw something in your reading that was to occur in the future, that was based on your life and path and circumstances at that time. Things can change, which can alter the future. Readings can be somewhat compared to a counseling session. It helps you determine things that have occurred in your past and present that need attention and possibly what will occur so that you can change your path via free will.

Why can't I see what you see or contact my loved ones who have crossed over?

There is no reason you can't. We are all born with psychic abilities, but as we grow up, some of us are told that the things we see and hear are only in our imagination, therefore we start to close off that "connection". What is the difference between a Psychic and a Medium?

All mediums are psychics but not all psychics are mediums :) Psychic refers to the skills of (ESP-Extra Sensory Perception) and is a generic term for all of the ESP skills. A psychic may be able to get such information as names, addresses, license plate numbers, etc, but doesn't actually connect with the spirit of your loved one. A Medium has the ability to communicate with those that have "passed on" and convey messages and the true personality and emotions of that person; in essence they actually "connect" with the spirit of your loved one. Can You Always Do a Reading for Someone or Are There Times When You "Don't Get Anything"?

I can almost always get something, however I can't guarantee it 100%. It really depends on how open the person I am reading for is and what their intentions are. Keep in mind if you are only trying to test my abilities, your results will reflect that, they will not reflect your true situation. Also know that if I can't get anything for you (which hasn't happened yet), I will not charge you for the reading!

How and when did you know you were psychic?

I've always been an empath and could "tap into" others' emotions without knowing that's what was happening, and I've had dreams of things before they've happened (I saw my grandfather's passing when I was 11 years old before it occurred). I also saw spirits around me all the time when I was younger. However, I was raised going to a Southern Baptist school and we were taught that these things were evil, so I sort of "shut them out". But always in the back of my mind, I knew what I was feeling was real and some of the things that I was being taught just didn't sit right with me. I didn't re-open my mind to these things until my late twenties and I thank God everyday for my re-awakening and this new spiritual path I am on.
